Anonymous asked: lump swelling/scar tissue (?) around my tongue ring? will it go away? p.s amazing blog :)
Anonymous asked: can u post a picture of your white ink lace tattoo? im so curious.
Anonymous asked: Are the white ink tattoos approximately the same amount as a normal tattoo?
Anonymous asked: so ive seen people who self pierce and tattoo but have u seen anyone who does self dermals?
gabharden asked: Just a suggestion to the anon who asked about white ink tattoos - I have one of my hand, and I'm fairly pale as well. I adore it because of it's subtlety, which has a lot to do with the reason I got the tattoo in the first place. Yes, they fade, like all tattoos, but they are still visible/noticeable.
Anonymous asked: Do white ink tattoos show up well on darker skin?
Anonymous asked: Thank you! I'm quite pale as well, and from what I'd seen I had completely decided against it, but now I'm reconsidering:)
Anonymous asked: When getting an industrial piercing, is it best to let it heal using two captives or just a barbell?
Anonymous asked: I know this is a piercings blog but I want your opinion on white ink tattoos. I've done a little research and have seen that they fade and require multiple touch ups and I was wondering if you thought they were worth it?
My ask box is so lonely right now…
You guys should fill it :) Still pretty low on submissions. I got two yesterday, and about 4 total for the entire week before that…
We broke 700 followers today :)
You guys are awesome <3
Anonymous asked: hey, I changed my belly bar about a week ago (after having it pierced for around 4 mounths - for the second time) and there's a little red mark under the hole (it's a navel piercing from the bottom up into the belly button btw). it doesn't hurt but there's sometimes crust around it, should I be worried? and what should I do to try and make it go away?
Anonymous asked: what part of the body was THAT?!
You guys, I felt bad.
I turned anon back on.
But I will no longer respond to ANY form of hate on this blog.

It is my goal in life to get pierced by Mateo Way.
*small fangirl moment*
lillyanderson asked: I've had a tongue piercing for a week and I'm worried it might be infected. What should I look out for in case it is infected?
fantasygrrrl asked: What piercing usually takes the longest to heal?
I haven't gotten nearly as many questions since I...
If you’re nervous about your question being posted publicly, I can reply privately.
And I don’t judge anyone for anything (unless, of course, you say “gauges” or do your own piercings)
Also, I haven’t had any submissions in quite awhile…
I've missed you guys.
This is Adrienna. I’m home from the hospital and doing about as well as can be expected. The drunk driver that hit me is being charged. I still don’t think I’ll be up to running this blog again for a few more weeks, which I am deeply sorry for. But I’m very thankful to Evie who’s been helping out.
Thank you for all your well wishes, they mean so much!
With the pronunciation of "labret" thing..
“lay-brit” and “lah-brit” are both common and kind of a regional thing. My point was, it’s a Latin word, not a French word and is not “luh-bray”

Lip piercings are just off setting for me, any other body mod I love. But I can’t get over them, the general ignorance that comes with the piercing is just the beginning
And I can’t get over the ignorance of your comment. You have no right to judge people with any modifications whatsoever. Sure, a...
theraptureraptor replied to your post: The pronunciation of the word “labret”
Maybe all of new york is wrong (but I’m assuming it’s our accent) we pronounce is “luh-bret”. I think it changes with the accent. And if I was a piercer I’d much rather hear someone say “luh-bray” than something like “panda bites”.
“luh-bret” is also common, just not where I live,...
breatheout-breathein replied to your post: Is there different types of lip piercing? (because people often say ‘vertical labret’, is there any other type?)
is there not also the horizontal lip piercing? I’m sure I’ve seen it before.
Oh sorry, you’re right, that one slipped my mind.

The pronunciation of the word "labret"
People come into our shop wanting a labret, or vertical labret piercing and often mispronounce the word. It is not a French word. It is not pronounced “luh-bray”
It is pronounced “lay-brit”
Just thought I’d clear that up. It’s a little bit of a pet peeve for me..
somuchplay asked: Heyo. I have wanted to get a hood piercing for a while, but now I keep seeing pictures of Christina piercings and I really love them. However, I don't know much about them, and the internet doesn't seem to either. I was just wondering if they have a high rejection rate, and how hard it would be to actually have one due to placement and whatnot, especially when it comes to things like...
Yeah, that’s it.
Anonymous is getting turned off right now.
I called Adrienna and she’s fine with it.
