It’s always nice when I word answers to questions wrong and then the tumblr app doesn’t let me edit them. I basically meant to just say to go to an experienced piercer. Ask to see portfolios and don’t be afraid to ask questions about anything they’re doing!

evading-sanity asked: Hi, I asked a question about my recently stretched ears, and you said that they were irritated and i should downsize. I'm just remembering now that when i first started out i used an anti-bacterial soap that was far from gentle on both my jewellery and my ear. Do you think that could be what irritated it? Or was it for sure skipping 16g?

evading-sanity asked: So i JUST started stretching my ears. As in, i stretched them to 14g 2 days ago. But i think they might be infected, as they kind of hurt when i touch them and there is a little blood, but not a lot. Should i do a saline soak and wash my jewellery, and just put it back in and wait for it to heal? Or what do you think i should do?
